Friday noon 12:15 in Eltville. All restaurants full, wine pumps suspiciously empty. Entered with three people (anyway). Nobody to see. Several times "Hello" and "Is someone there?" Then comes a sullen looking person to whom we explain that we would like to have lunch. Answer “I'll be right there!” And he was gone again. So do we.

Small but nice. From the front (to the street) you can't see that the building has such a beautiful inner courtyard. The waitress has everything in view and is very attentive. I had the chicken with Riesling sauce and I have to say that the sauce was very finely seasoned, unfortunately I have experienced that in a completely different way elsewhere. The language of the plate was also convincing. I would very much like to come back with more time to linger. But since I hadn't booked in advance, the nice waitress let me sit down "quickly" on a reserved seat, everything went very quickly ... I can't help but give honest 5 * stars here.

Good middle-class restaurant. Good regional wines. Nice atmosphere in the green inner courtyard with partially covered, shady seats. Everything was sufficient and of good quality. Always my pleasure.

Despite Corona times, the wine pump is more than busy. Despite a reservation we were seated at an "emergency table" next to the entrance and everything was pretty hectic. Still the food was good.

Nice garden (courtyard), authentic local cuisine, well cooked, attentive and personable chef. We somehow missed the wine list, but the open rosé was perfect. Highly recommended if you want to do without stars and hoods ....

Mega, good service. Attentive, courteous. Extra requests are accepted without any problems. Food hot, delicious, priced absolutely fine. Clean and brisk ... all in all. We recommend.

Beautiful restaurant in the middle of the old town of Eltville. We went here for dinner and had eggs with green sauce and potatoes and liver dumplings with mushrooms in cream sauce. Both delicious! The wine and beer garden is very nice. You can sit comfortably under old trees and enjoy a cool wine. The staff is quick and friendly. We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back! Tip!

The place is cozy, traditional and rustic. The food is good but the best part are the nice and quite entertaining service people here, pretty awesome.
